Mary Trevelyan Fund

   

The Mary Trevelyan Fund is a hardship fund available to students from developing countries* who have found themselves in unexpected financial difficulties during the final year of their studies in London.

All applicants to the Mary Trevelyan Fund must meet the following criteria;

1) studying at a publicly funded institution in London or studying at a college in membership of ISH.
2) in their final year of study.
3) from a developing country*
4) studying on a course with a relevant developmental application in their home country.
5) intending to return to their home country on completion of their course.
6) in financial need due to unexpected circumstances.

In addition;

a) preference will be given to those who are members of International Students House.
b) applications will not be considered from those seeking or granted asylum in the UK.
c) applicants should not require total funding in excess of £2,000.
d) Other than in exceptional circumstances, the maximum award will be a grant or a loan of up to £1,000

* excludes North America, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Australia, New Zealand, Israel, and all countries in the European Economic Area, plus Switzerland.
